DescriptionBond by Stephen Crymelford of Dorchester in the county of Dorset, baker, and Johanna, daughter of the said Stephen, in favour of John Longe of Warmewell, husbandman, to pay 20 pounds sterling to the said John, his attorneys or assignees. Dated 5 August 10 Henry VIII (1518). In Latin. The condition of the obligation is that the said Stephen and Johane agree to accept the arbitration and judgement of Henry Trenchard, Nicholas Wylughby and John Smyth, gentlemen, and William Stone, yeoman of the crown, arbiters indifferently chosen between the said Stephen and Johane of the one party, and John Longe of the other, upon the right and title of certain lands in Est Ryngstede, and also upon all actions suits etc. depending between the said parties before the date of these presents. The award is to be made before the feast of St. Micheal the Archangel after the date of the present obligation. Otherwise the obligation is void. In English. ( Defective)
